Ms. Chloe Labrada's 7th-grade class recently participated in an engaging mock trial that had everyone on their toes.
Divided into teams, students took on roles as lawyers, witnesses, and jurors—all while practicing their public speaking and critical thinking skills. As they debated the case, the class learned about the legal system, how to build persuasive arguments, and the importance of fair judgment. It was an exciting, hands-on way for the students to apply their knowledge while working together and sharpening their collaboration skills.
